Search can be performed at the Trade Mark office for each international classification but no official search report is available from the Trade Mark office, search performed by the agent may only cover the information available in the Official Gazette and the corresponding Registration Certificate.  Search report is not necessary for filing an application.  Search can be effected for identical word mark, design mark and owners name.  For the purpose of carrying out the search the name (print) of the mark as well as the class number will be required.
